Future decisions on when our sports programs will resume will be based on information we get from the Prince George’s County; Government, Board of Education, Boys and Girls Club, and Park & Planning. The State Superintendent of Education Dr. Karen Salmon has also suspended outside facility use at all public-schools until further notice. As we receive information it will be placed on our website and communicated via commissioners of each spring sport.

KLMBGC is one of 33 member clubs of The Prince George’s County Boys & Girls Club (PGCBGC) which is a private, non-profit corporation incorporated under the statutes of the State of Maryland and is governed by a Board of Directors.
The organizational structure of the Club is designed to capture both board and non-board members input through the use of several committees that are charged with specific responsibilities to maintain the expertise needed to solve the day-to-day issues of the Club. Effectiveness and communication are open to all that have a sincere interest in giving back to the children in the community. As implied by the club name, KLMBGC primarily serves the Kettering, Largo and Mitchellville community.
As a member KLMBGC provides Prince George’s County youth opportunities to participate in many sports activities. Each club is administered by volunteers. At the present time, 2,500 volunteers serve 18,000 youth members of the Prince George’s County Boys & Girls Club. KLMBGC offers basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, cheerleading and football programs for girls and boys ages 3 – 18. These activities are available to all youth living within and around the Kettering-Largo-Mitchellville community, regardless of ability and/or skill level.
Participants receive instruction from coaches who are American Sports Effectiveness Program qualified. Become involved and join the fun and the activities offered by KLMBGC of the Prince George’s County Boys & Girls Club. Adults, get involved as a volunteer.
