Week #5 County Evaluations/Practice Schedule

Age groups  on the schedule refer to Boys, unless it specifically say Girls.

Thank you for participating in our Evaluations. We have concluded Evaluations for 7u,  8u, 10, 11u, 12u, 14u, and 15u Boys. You will receive information from the Coaches regarding the next steps for your athletes.

NOTE: Evaluations for 9u and 13u Boys and 10u, 12u, and 14u Girls will continue until teams are formed.

COUNTY BASKETBALL

The Kettering-Largo-Mitchellville Boys and Girls Club County Basketball program consists of boys ages 7 to 18 and and girls ages 7 to 14. This is our most competitive program which seeks to teach the fundamentals of the sport while participating against other boys and girls basketball teams in the Prince Georges County Boys & Girls Club league.

The County Basketball program is divided into a Girls and Boys division. The Girls division consists of the following teams – 10 and under, 12 and under, 14 and under. The Boys division consists of teams at every age group starting with 8 and under going all the way to 18 and under. The County rules of play are governed by the Prince Georges County Boys & Girls Club, Inc. You can review the Prince George's County Boys & Girls Club website for details.

LEAGUE AGE ELIGIBILITY
Age groups are based on the age the athlete will be on January 1, 2025.

AGE GROUPS
Boys - 7u, 8u, 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u, 14u, 15u, 16u, 17u, and 18u
Girls - 10u, 12u, and 14u

IDENTIFICATION CARDS
Athletes must have one of the following to play:

• Maryland MVA ID Card;
• Any Sanctioned Government-Issued ID with a photo and date of birth (e.g., US Passport or Military Dependent ID); or
• A PGCBGC Laminated Card.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registration - will be open up late November / early December

• $190, includes $55 uniform cost
• $135, if you do not need to purchase a new uniform

Uniform and Online processing fees are Non-Refundable

PRACTICES
Weekdays (one day per week) - 1 to 1.5 hours
Saturdays and Sundays - 1.5 to 2 hours
All practices will be held at Kettering Middle School, Ernest Just Middle School, Largo High School, and/or the Perrywood Community Center.
