2023 INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL CHAMPS!!!

Intramural Basketball Program

The Kettering-Largo-Mitchellville Boys and Girls Club Intramural Basketball program consist of boys and girls ages 3 to 14 years old. The program teaches the basic fundamentals of the sport.

New to KLMBGC is the Rising Stars League!!!

Rising Stars League (ages 3-5)

What is the KLM Rising Stars League? 

We know the youth are our future and through the KLM Rising Stars League we are driven to provide a positive and fun learning experience for your child. We will focus on developing kids 3-5 years of age in the areas of discipline, hard work, and character while accomplishing the most important aspect of basketball, having fun!

How will you develop my Rising Star? 

At this age level it’s understood that repetition is key, so we’ve built a fun and creative 8-week developmental program. The players will meet twice a week (Saturday and Sunday) and during those sessions your child will learn the basics of dribbling, shooting, sharing (teamwork) and footwork.

RISING STARS 3v3 League

• Ages 5/6
• Total number of players per team will depend on registrations

• Playoffs and Championship

Upper League

Juniors (ages 6 to 9)

Seniors (ages 10 to 14)

The teams will consist of both boys and girls. The program will run from February 2023 to March 2023. The majority of the games will be played on Saturdays throughout the day and on Sundays after 1:00pm.

The Rules of Play & Conduct are posted below. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with them.

Targeted Age Group 

• Rising Stars – ages 3 to 5 years old
• Juniors – ages 6 to 9 years old
• Seniors – ages 10 to 14 years old

RISING STARS

3 & 4 year olds- Saturdays at 9am and Sundays at 1pm

Registration Fee - $135 (Ages 6 - 14)

Rising Stars Registration Fee - $105 (Ages 3 - 5)
